Welcome to The Original Hot Yoga & Hot Pilates, a Premier studio located in North Alabama.  Our studio services Madison/Huntsville/Athens/Decatur and the entire valley area.  We specialize in the Bikram Hot Yoga Method and Hot Pilates. Get ready to sweat, purify your body, and gain more energy with this healing practice. Our Hot Yoga and Hot Pilate classes are open to all levels of practitioners and are designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, and burn fat.

Today's Classes

 The 90 – minute Bikram Hot Yoga Method features 26 hatha yoga postures and 2 breathing exercises and is practiced in a 105 degree Fahrenheit heated room at 40% humidity. Each posture stretches and strengthens specific muscles, ligaments, and joints needed for the next posture. The Bikram method also stimulates the organs, glands and nerves by moving fresh oxygenated blood to 100% of the body that restores all systems to a healthy working order. Bikram scientifically designed this vigorous program to deliver total health through the balancing and strengthening of every system in the body in order to prevent illness, injury and limit the effects of aging. In addition, the series of postures taught in our class combines skills of concentration, patience, determination and self-control, leading to increased mental clarity and reduced stress.

 The 60 – minute Hot Pilates is a challenging full-body work­out, which combines Pilates principles with high intensity interval training. The Pilates principles sculpt your body, creating long lean muscle mass, burns fat, and increases fitness levels. It creates a stronger core, improves circulation, and increases flexibility and is performed in a room heated to 95 degrees Fahrenheit and 40% humidity. The heat loosens up the muscles quickly, and the humidity makes you sweat — elevating your heart rate (cardio), boosting metabolism, and promoting detoxification, It is performed on a yoga mat making it zero impact, protecting your joints and muscles from the pounding of other exercises like running and jumping. There is no impact, so it is a safe practice for all fitness levels of students.
